Every piece we sell is authenticated by independent experts—never “in-house only.” Your order includes a scannable chip that links to a tamper-evident digital certificate.

Our authentication promise

Third-party verified: We partner with reputable services (including Legit App) and other independent authenticators.
Certificate included: Each bag ships with a scannable NFC/QR chip that opens your digital certificate.
Lifetime authenticity guarantee: If a recognized third-party authenticator ever proves an item inauthentic, we’ll make it right with a full resolution or refund.

How we authenticate (step-by-step)

Intake & provenance check – We collect seller history, receipts, serials/date codes, service records, and macro photos.
Physical inspection – Materials, stitching, hardware, stamps, linings, glazing, odor, and wear patterns are examined under high light and macro magnification.
Independent review – Files are submitted to third-party authenticators (e.g., Legit App) for expert analysis and written findings.
Digital certificate issued – A certificate with photos, conclusions, and a unique ID is generated and bound to your item.
Chip activation – We attach/activate your NFC/QR chip tag so you (or a future buyer) can verify anytime.
Final QC & pack-out – We re-inspect, clean, and seal your item with all paperwork and your validation tag.

How to verify your bag (the chip)

Locate the tag (like the one shown below) in your package.
Tap or scan:
- iPhone: hold the top edge of your phone to the center of the chip tag.
- Android: touch the center back of your phone to the chip tag.
- Or open your phone camera and scan the QR if present.
A secure page opens with: item photos, certificate ID, authenticator notes, and time-stamp.

Having trouble? Make sure NFC is on (Android), try removing your phone case, or email contactus@tresorselec.com with your order number and we’ll resend the certificate link.

Do you ever self-authenticate?
We always use independent experts. Our internal inspection is an extra safeguard—never the sole basis.

Which third parties do you use?
We use Legit App and, when appropriate, other vetted authenticators that specialize by brand and model.

Is the chip removable?
Yes, it’s a non-permanent tag for buyer convenience. Keep it with the bag for future resale value.

What if another authenticator disagrees?
Send us their written assessment. If a recognized third-party authenticator proves inauthentic, we’ll provide a full resolution or refund.

Do I get the certificate file?
Yes—your chip links to it 24/7. We can also email you a PDF copy on request.

Are you affiliated with the brands?
No. We independently resell pre-owned luxury goods.
